Cologno Nord — overview
Cologno Nord is, along with Gessate, one of the green line's two northern termini. In the earliest drawings it was called Bettolino before taking its present name; it belongs to the Cologno branch opened on 7 June 1981. It is served by three tracks, with the platforms linked by a footbridge, an arrangement common to most of the M2's outer stations. It has a staffed ticket desk, newsstand, shops and toilets.

A northern terminus with park-and-ride, on the doorstep of Brianza. Surface routes leave from here for Monza, Brugherio and the neighbouring towns.
