Cologno Sud — overview
Cologno Sud, called Metallino in the early plans, belongs to the so-called Cologno branch of the green line, opened on 7 June 1981. It is a viaduct station with two tracks and side platforms, and it also serves the neighbouring town of Vimodrone. A new cycle path was laid in the forecourt during 2025. Facilities include a staffed ticket desk, newsstand, tobacconist, shops, car park and bike racks.
