Bonola — overview
Bonola, which was to have been called Olona in the original plans, opened on 12 April 1980 with the extension from QT8 to San Leonardo. Along with Lampugnano, San Leonardo and Molino Dorino it belongs to the group of north-western suburban stations built in that phase. It serves the Bonola district, with its shopping centre and the nearby Parco delle Cave.
