QT8 — overview
QT8 takes its name from Quartiere Triennale 8, the experimental district designed for the eighth Milan Triennale in 1947 as a model of modern public housing: alongside it rises Monte Stella, the artificial hill built from wartime rubble. The station was opened on 8 November 1975 as the terminus of the extension from Lotto, and kept that role until 12 April 1980.
