Vetra — overview
Vetra is the stop for the Parco delle Basiliche, between San Lorenzo Maggiore with its Roman columns and Sant'Eustorgio: one of the oldest corners of Milan, and in summer one of the busiest in the evening. The station entered service on 12 October 2024 with the full opening of the blue line. The name comes from piazza Vetra, historically linked to public executions in the medieval city.
