San Babila — overview
San Babila is now one of the most useful interchanges in the city: the red line meets the M4 here, the automated blue line that reaches Linate airport in about a dozen minutes. The square is the eastern threshold of the historic centre, five minutes from the Duomo and on the edge of the Quadrilatero della Moda: corso Vittorio Emanuele II runs from here to the cathedral, corso Venezia out to the ramparts. The station has lifts, a step-free route and toilets.
