Cordusio — overview
Cordusio serves the square of the same name, the financial heart of late-nineteenth-century Milan, ringed by insurance palaces and the historic post office. Since 2018 on-board announcements give the station its full name, Cordusio–Biblioteca Ambrosiana, marking the Leonardo centenary: the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, home to the Codex Atlanticus and Leonardo's Musician, is a few minutes away. The stop dates from 1964 and is barely 340 metres from Duomo — often quicker to walk.
