Pasteur — overview
Pasteur belongs to the original stretch of the Milan metro, in service since 1 November 1964. The name comes from piazzale Louis Pasteur, dedicated to the French microbiologist. It is a no-frills stop — escalators, ticket machines, CCTV — serving a residential district between viale Monza and via Padova, one of the most densely populated and multicultural parts of the city.
