Bisceglie — overview
Bisceglie is the red line's south-western terminus, opened on 21 March 1992 after the January 1990 urban transport plan approved the extension from Inganni with no intermediate stops — just 0.7 km added to the line. It is an unusual underground station, with both tracks in a single bore, accessible to wheelchair users and served by a park-and-ride — handy if you arrive on the western ring road and would rather leave the car before entering the city.
