Precotto — overview
Precotto is one of the stations from the original 1 November 1964 stretch, named after the old farming village absorbed into Milan in 1923. Today it is a neighbourhood stop, rather better equipped than most of its contemporaries: lifts, escalators and a step-free route. It sits on the viale Monza axis, the long corridor the red line follows towards the north-east, serving a densely built-up area right up against the boundary with Sesto San Giovanni.

The old village of Precotto, now a district of public housing and apartment blocks, with the church of Santa Maria Assunta and the viale Monza street market. It is also the handiest stop for the eastern side of Parco Nord.
