Bicocca — overview
Bicocca is the stop for the University of Milano-Bicocca and the Teatro degli Arcimboldi, the large hall that housed La Scala during the 2002–2004 restoration and now programmes concerts and shows. The district was created out of the former Pirelli works: a textbook case of industrial regeneration. The station opened on 10 February 2013 with the M5's first section.
