Portello — overview
Portello stands on the site of the former Alfa Romeo Portello works, redeveloped into a residential quarter with a large park and a shopping centre. The Fieramilanocity exhibition grounds and the MiCo convention centre are also nearby. Construction began in July 2011 and the station was opened on 6 June 2015, a month after the section it belongs to.
