Garibaldi FS — overview
Garibaldi FS links the green line, the lilac line and Porta Garibaldi railway station, a hub for the cross-city link and regional trains. The M2 stop opened on 12 July 1971, making Porta Garibaldi the fourth Milan railway station connected to the metro after Cadorna, Lambrate and Centrale. The M2 station is a through station with three tracks in three tunnels. At street level you come out by piazza Gae Aulenti, the Bosco Verticale and the Porta Nuova towers.
