Villa Pompea — overview

Villa Pompea is one of the four stations that were not in the original Adda rapid-lines plan — along with Bussero, Cascina Burrona and Villa Fiorita — and were added once work had started, built from prefabricated parts on a tight budget. It shows: two tracks, concrete platforms on piles, metal canopies with translucent panels, a footbridge linking them and a small station building on the south side. Opened on 5 May 1968, it serves the Gessate locality of the same name.
What's nearby
