Cernusco sul Naviglio — overview

Cernusco sul Naviglio station — Milan metro

Cernusco sul Naviglio is one of the best-equipped stations on the outer section: a bar, a tobacconist, a newsstand, shops, a staffed ticket desk, a car park and bike racks, all in the station building. Opened on 5 May 1968 on the Milan–Gorgonzola line, it has two tracks with covered side platforms. The town takes its name from the Naviglio della Martesana, the Renaissance canal that runs from here into Milan: the cycle path alongside it is a classic weekend outing.
