Vimodrone — overview
Vimodrone opened on 5 May 1972, four years after the neighbouring stations, and on 4 December of the same year it switched from the trams to Vaprio and Cassano to M2 trains, when the Milan–Gorgonzola line was absorbed into the metro. It has two tracks with covered side platforms and a station building that houses all the services: a staffed ticket desk, a newsstand, shops, a car park and bike racks.
