Sant'Agostino Station
M2 Line · Milan Metro
Sant'Agostino — overview

Sant'Agostino is technically interesting: its tracks are on two stacked levels rather than side by side. The design avoided tunnelling under buildings and was a trial for later sections. Work began in 1978, as the M2 terminus at Cadorna FN was opening, and the tram line to piazza Tirana had to be diverted along corso Genova to make room for the works. The station opened on 30 October 1983.
