Centrale FS — overview
Centrale FS is Milan's great gateway for anyone arriving by train: the monumental 1931 station above, and below it the crossing of the green and yellow lines. The M2 stop opened on 27 April 1970 as a temporary terminus; the M3 arrived on 3 May 1990, built between the M2 platform level and the street. Lifts and escalators lead directly to the railway platforms, served by high-speed trains, regional trains and the Malpensa Express.
