Cassina de' Pecchi — overview

Cassina de' Pecchi station — Milan metro

Cassina de' Pecchi serves the Martesana town of the same name. The station, opened on 5 May 1968, has two tracks with covered side platforms, the whole structure standing on a viaduct. Until 4 December 1972 the line was served by trams to Vaprio and Cassano: only from that date did M2 trains arrive, extended from the old terminus at Cascina Gobba. It is one of the stops with the most shops on the outer section: a bar, a tobacconist, shops and a staffed ticket desk.
