San Siro Ippodromo is the stop for the San Siro racecourse, the historic flat-racing venue that holds the equestrian monument known as Leonardo's Horse, cast in 1999 from the design Leonardo da Vinci never completed. The trotting track stands alongside. The station opened on 29 April 2015 with the section towards San Siro Stadio.
