Zara — overview
Zara is the interchange between the yellow and lilac lines. The M3 station was brought into use on 16 December 1995 as the terminus of the extension from Sondrio and kept that role until 8 December 2003; the M5 station opened on 10 February 2013. It sits on viale Zara at the junction with viale Stelvio, on the trolleybus ring: an important surface hub too, with the 90/91 trolleybus circling the city.
