Repubblica — overview
Repubblica belongs to the yellow line's first section, Centrale FS–Duomo, which entered service on 3 May 1990. Since 1997, with the opening of Milano Repubblica station on the cross-city link, it has also been an interchange with suburban trains. The station lies beneath the square of the same name, one of Milan's traffic hubs, ringed by hotels and offices and a few minutes from the Porta Nuova towers.
