San Donato — overview
San Donato is the yellow line's southern terminus, opened on 12 May 1991. A geographical curiosity: despite being named after San Donato Milanese, the station actually stands within the Milan city boundary, in the Rogoredo district. It has a large park-and-ride and a bar, and works as a railhead for drivers arriving on the via Emilia and the eastern ring road.
