Montenapoleone — overview
Montenapoleone is the stop for the Quadrilatero della Moda: via Montenapoleone, via della Spiga, via Sant'Andrea and via Manzoni, with all the great luxury houses, are a few steps away. In the early plans the station was to be called Manzoni, after the street it runs beneath. Like Turati and Missori it was built with stacked tracks to avoid passing under buildings. Opened on 3 May 1990 with the yellow line's first section.
