Sondrio — overview
Sondrio was brought into use on 12 May 1991 as the terminus of the extension from Centrale FS and remained the yellow line's end until 16 December 1995, when the M3 reached Zara. It serves the residential area between Milano Centrale and viale Zara, a short walk from the Isola district. Like every stop on the line it is accessible, with lifts and toilets.
